Administration

ChairMike Carroll
Administration sub-committees are involved in many of the activities throughout the parish that keep the wheels moving.  If it relates to facilities, property or policy, chances are that someone from  Administration  was involved in forming recommendations or implementing some form of action.

1)  Building & GroundsBrad Raque

Members meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. to do work as needed to maintain or repair our buildings and grounds. Jobs range from changing light bulbs to carpentry and plumbing. Occasionally, the committee members undertake a major project such as painting the church and building a sidewalk.

2)  Church Cleaners Debbie Cunagin

As a church cleaner, you work with a partner to do general cleaning in the church and are scheduled about twice a year. Jobs include vacuuming, dusting and cleaning the glass doors and sacristy bathroom. You can ask to be scheduled with a friend, or be paired up with another committee member.

3)  Fish FryJody Schaefer

Parish Fish Fries are held every Friday during Lent. Meals may be enjoyed at St. Michael or as carryout. Many volunteers are needed each Friday to serve and clean up. Persons wanting to assist with food preparation are asked to commit to working most Fridays because of the training required.

4)  Research & DevelopmentVince Kimbel

The Research & Development Committee is activated as needed by the Parish Council to meet and plan for the future growth of our parish. Activities include reviewing and planning the layout of our campus, developing building plans for new and existing facilities and overseeing construction of all projects approved. All parishioners are welcome to join, but a background in construction, engineering, architecture or a related career may be helpful. Meetings are held at least once a month, usually on a Thursday evening.

5)  SecurityMike Halbleib

The purpose of the Security Committee is to evaluate current operating procedures as it relates to security measures; to provide the Administration Committee with recommendations to improve the overall safety and security measures for the St. Michael community; to constantly strive to improve safety and security for the St. Michael community; and to provide security staffing for all St. Michael events requiring such personnel. The committee will meet on a quarterly basis unless event planning requires additional coordination efforts. Due to the sensitivity of specific security measures that will be outlined and implemented, it is recommended that this committee consist of individuals receiving prior approval from the Administration Committee Chair.
